Older Toddler Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a pre-school teaching assistant to join our team! This individual will assist the lead teacher in planning and presenting age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teacher with the instruction of preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.
• Assist teacher with creating a fun and safe learning environment.
• Assist teacher with adhering to schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
• Maintain the health and safety of all students.

Requirements:

• CDA, high school diploma.

We are seeking a lead infant classroom teacher to join our team! This individual will lead in planning and presenting age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct infant-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment.
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
• Communicate with parents on students’ growth and progress.
• Maintain the health and safety of all students.
• Ensure that childcare routines are carried out in a manner that is prompt, hygienic, and consistent with good child development principles. This includes routines related to diapering, hand washing, eating, napping, and transitioning between activities.
• Ensure the safety of children through constant supervision, effective arrangement of space, proper maintenance of equipment, and regular practice of fire drills and other emergency procedures.
• Operate the classroom in compliance with all childcare licensing standards, and Hudson Sprouts Employee and Policy Handbooks.
• Initiate classroom activities daily (sing-a-longs, art projects, sensory exploration, outdoor stimulation).
• Work as a member of a team to ensure continuity and a high standard of quality in all classrooms in the center.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in education or childhood-education related or CDA.
